Snowman Crafts for Kids on Paper

Snowman Crafts for Kids

Materials

  • Construction paper or plain paper (2 sheets)
  • Three different colors of paints (watercolor or acrylic)
  • Brushes or paint tool (as shown in the video)
  • Markers or crayons
  • Pencil
  • Black, blue, and orange pieces of construction paper
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Safety scissors
  • Glue
  • Masking tape
  • Containers to hold paints

Instructions

  1. Draw two circles to represent the snowman’s head and body on a piece of paper. 
  2. Cut the circles and set aside. 
  3. Then, paste two small pieces of masking tape on the back of the snowman template. 
  4. Adhere the snowman to a construction paper. 
  5. Place three different colors on a paper plate or container (blue, light green, and violet). 
  6. Use the tool described in the video or a brush to dab around the snowman. 
  7. Let the snowman paper dry. 
  8. Remove the snowman template gently. 
  9. Cut a hat from black construction paper, a nose from orange construction paper, and buttons from blue paper. 
  10. Paste these items onto the snowman. 
  11. Add wiggle eyes. 
  12. Use a red marker to draw a scarf or other color.
